The important features of the political map are for one, Cuba is split into different regions and each of those regions have a capital
in them. The splits of Cuba are Pinar Del Rio, Isla De la Juventud, La
Habana, Ciudad de La Habana, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Sanctio Spirtus, Ciego De
Avila, Camaguey, Las Tunas, Holguin, Grannma, and Guantanamo. Even though each
of these provinces have a capital in them, the main nationwide capital of Cuba
is Havana. Something else about Cuba is that it is close to many different countries so they have many possibilities
of trade however one of those countries has a known trade embargo on Cuba. This
country also has many railroads, expressways, and roads. One of the roads that
Cuba has, travels all the way from one side of Cuba to the opposite of Cuba.
Some of the important features that Cuba has on its physical map are its 3 distinguished mountain ranges. The top left mountain range of Cuba is called Cordillera De Guaniguanico. The mountain range that is towards the center of Cuba is called Grupo Guamuaya, and finally the last mountain range is called Sierra Maestra. Another important feature of Cuba’s physical map is that it shows many but not all of Cuba’s rivers. Cuba has a huge amount of rivers which the Cuban people rely on a whole bunch for their trade, for fishing, and irrigation all around. So based of the physical geography, the Cuban people have to rely heavily on where they are living.
Another important geographic feature that has been discovered in Cuba is its oil. In the National Geographic article about Cuba, Cuba had discovered a large amount of oil around it in the sea many years ago. It is now on the search for more oil in the sea so that they can try to sell it to other countries. However the high-tech oil driller they had is now being moved to Africa or Brazil because rumors have been going on that those countries are being more lucky in the oil industry. Basically they moved away from Cuba because Cuba had exhausted their source and were unable to find a new one.
